Formed in 1988, Aaran Insurance provides car insurance as well as other insurances throughout the Republic of Ireland. The managing director, David Jones started the company and is still currently the Managing Director.. The company states that Aaran Insurances has enjoyed continuous growth since its formation. It has a small quantity of staff (less than 20) but can still provide an efficient insurance service throughout the country. It is a member of the Irish Brokers Association as well as Brokerline Direct which is an association of independent insurance companies networked to provide a better insurance service.

They state that they hold Professional Indemnity Insurance with a limit of €2,000,000, they are Bonded for €200,000 with an inner limit of €65,000 per client. and are also Members of the Investor Compensation Scheme.
